The Delta Sleep Center Management Services team (Delta) consists of a blend of business and sleep industry executives, Registered Respiratory Therapist, Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and Certified Sleep Educators. Our team also includes, Legal Counsel with specific knowledge and experience in business and healthcare law as well as Physicians Board Certified in Sleep Medicine.
This combination of professional experience enables Delta to partner with our customers to address and solve a number of situations and opportunities. It also allows us the flexibility to explore different business models without compromising business and clinical ethics.
Meet the Delta Administrative team:
Joe Petrolla- Co-Founder and Chief Sales Officer (CSO)
Joe is the CSO and co-founder of Delta. He received his BS in BA with an emphasis in Marketing and Management from Youngstown State University (YSU) in 1986. Shortly after graduating from YSU, Joe opened his first start up home respiratory and medical equipment company (HME). After growing and selling his first company, Joe worked as a senior level manager and executive of regional and national HME companies. Also during his career he worked for Respironics, (now Philips/ Respironics), as Director of Sales Development responsible for sales development of the US and Canadian Regional Managers and sales force. Joe also served as interim manager of Canada for Respironics until leaving to start Delta Sleep Center Management Services, LTD in 2005.
Raymond (Andrew) Boso, RPGST- Lead Technologist
Raymond, aka, Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in Education from Youngstown State University and is also a US Army Veteran serving in Iraqi Freedom as part of the 216th Engineer Combat Battalion. He is currently in the US Air Force Reserves stationed out of the Youngstown Air Reserve Station, 910th Airlift Wing holding the rank of Master Sergeant. Andrew became a trained sleep technician while working for Delta and went on to become a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist through the BRPT and AASM. He is currently responsible for scoring sleep studies, processing interpretation reports, coordinating the sleep technologist’s schedules and manages a program specifically designed for the transportation industry.
Leslie Black-Insurance Verification Specialist
Leslie Black attended Grove City College and Youngstown State University as a Business Major. She began her career with The Prudential Insurance Company serving as a Customer Service Representative, Underwriting Specialist and the Assistant to the District Manager.
Upon leaving Prudential, she worked for Clearview Designs, Inc. as a full charge bookkeeper and Human Resource Manager.
At Delta, Leslie has developed our Insurance and Authorization process, always working to streamline our procedures and improve our authorization approval and claim payment rates.
Meet the Delta Clinical team:
Alan Cropp MD, FCCP
Dr. Cropp is a Board Certified Sleep Specialist. Dr. Cropp did his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati and graduated from the Ohio State Medical College in 1979. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He serves as a Professor of Medicine at Northeastern Ohio Medical Colleges and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Cropp has been practicing medicine in the Youngstown, Ohio area since 1984, and now limits his practice to Sleep Medicine.
Michael A. Lileas, D.O. FACP
Dr. Lileas graduated from Ohio University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986. He is a Diplomat in Sleep Medicine ABIM, Diplomat American Board of Internal Medicine, Diplomat Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners and member of the Ohio State Medical Board.
He is currently the Hospitalist at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods responsible for all hospital post-operative medicine. He also conducts consults for sleep referrals to the Sleep Center at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods and will, when requested, complete the process from consult through therapy.
When not performing his medical duties, Dr. Lileas serves as an instructor for Medical Student Teaching at Mercy Health Partners, Youngstown, Ohio, Adjunct Clinical Faculty, Ohio University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, Clinical Instructor, Athens, Ohio. He is also an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Northeastern Ohio Medical University, Rootstown, Ohio.
Dr. Lileas has received many awards throughout his career including and most recently, Fellowship American College of Physicians in 2015.
Susan L Billec RRT RPSGT RST – Clinical Director
Susan is the Clinical Director of Delta. Susan has been a member of the Delta team since inception, she received her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Youngstown State University. She has been in the Health Care field since 1984 and has extensive experience in the fields of Respiratory Therapy as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Sleep Medicine as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and as a Certified Sleep Educator.
